Ordering Information
For your convenience, we are now accepting
PayPal payments sent to
dorothy@aquashells.com
Please order shells by list date, item number and
species name. Orders can be placed by phone, email, postal mail or fax.
Payment should accompany all orders.
For new customers, please contact us for acceptable payment methods. For
established customers, payment may be made
by PayPal, MasterCard or Visa (credit or debit), DiscoverCard, personal check or postal money
order. For credit/debit card orders, please include card number, expiration date, your
name as it appears on the card, your signature, the code number above your signature on
the reverse of the card, and your credit card billing address if different from your
shipping address for your order. PayPal payments should be
sent to
dorothy@aquashells.com. Please make checks and money orders payable to Dorothy
Merenda. Customers outside the USA may pay by the above credit cards (the easiest
method) or bank checks in US funds payable through a US bank. In the rare event that we
are out of an item, a refund will be sent to you immediately upon receipt of your order.
Credit card orders will be only be charged for the specimens that are shipped. Invoices
and credit card receipts will be included with orders shipped within the USA and sent
separately by air for overseas orders. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Any specimens that
do not live up to your expectations may be returned without explanation, within 10 days of
your receiving them, for a prompt refund, exchange, or credit as you prefer.
Shipping charges are extra and should be included with
your payment. Discounts do not apply to shipping charges.
SHELLS -
Within the USA,
please add $6.50 per order (insurance included).
Outside the USA, please add $13.50 per order. If you
would like your parcel registered, there is an additional charge of $10.00 per
order, for a total of $23.50. We recommend registration on all overseas packages and
cannot be responsible for parcels that are not registered. Overseas shipments will be sent
as “Seashells for scientific study – no commercial value”.
BOOKS -
For the USA, please add up the total weight of the books in your
order, which appears at the end of each book listing. (Example: 4.5 pounds + 5 pounds =
9.5 pounds would be considered 10 pounds). To calculate the
shipping amount, please multiply the total
book weight (in full pounds) by $1.00, then add $1.75 to cover the packing weight.
(Example: 5 pounds at $1.00 per pound = $5.00 + $1.75 for a total of $6.75).
Books are sent by media mail.
For all other countries, please
contact us for shipping costs. Books shipped outside the
USA are sent by surface mail wherever possible.
